WIP

last  night i read a post of one of my old friends and liked her simplicity of expression but yet a real conversation like feeling. She writes about a large variety of topics, ranging from food, cosmetics, lifestyle etc. (basically anything under the sun). some were good some better, with occasional amateurish stuff. there was a secular trend, each one was a notch better than the previous.

I understood one important ingredient of success, one can't finish that he never started.  Hence, I searched my almost forgotten blog and started writing again. Its not important if you keep looking for some ground breaking idea to express your thought just to get accolades. its much much simpler, get out of your dream world where you have a eureka moment an the world loves you after that. get your boat into the ocean, the wind will turn you into a sailor.

These days i am trying to absorb positivity around me, taking who ever offers wisdom.

"Murdered Till Alive"

Some days back, Delhi was reckoned by a incidence which media termed as "Delhi gang rape case", I asked myself  "why do these things happen and what is the recourse that we can resort to". Some propagated capital punishment , others had some interesting suggestions about making them impotent. Some radical view came from a certain sections "enlightening" us about how women should behave.

In my quest to identify the thin line that separates popular opinion and realistic approach I came to the conclusion that capital punishment is not a answer to this. In fact it will make it nearly impossible to convict these psychopaths. Taking in legal terms "rape is a intercourse without a will" and to prove it, the prosecution needs to prove an intercourse (evidence of which are gone in 3-4 weeks). Now in a scenario were medical reports are not available (which is often the case)... rape case will dilute to a sexual assault case (which is by the way is bailable). Now just imagine, if the penalty in capital punishment the amount of evidence required  will increase astronomically to prove a person guilty. Secondly, this whole theory of capital punishment is based on the assumption that making the conviction stricter, will make the a person fearful of the consequences.. will it work??? possibly no. In my limited intellectual capacity, I believe that the it's not that the current provision of 7-14 years of imprisonment does not bother a person,,,, it is because the conviction rate is so slow in India that its like any body can molest any women and get away with it (ironical, but true). Hence, steps should be taken to improve the conviction rate. 

There are a few things that will slowly but surely make are women feel safer. Firstly, these cases should be addressed in fast track courts. This will bring a end to the mockery that is currently made out of rape cases. Secondly, there should be a helpline (a real one, 181 is not what I am talking about) where a lady officer will visit the victim within 3-4 hours and basically do two things,,, file the victims statement (FIR) and get the medical tests including a DNA test done. Lastly, marital rapes should also fall under the provisions of rape..... in India neither the husband nor the lady considers it a rape ..... I am sure if that is done, we will come up with some mind boggling numbers.  

    

     

Cyclicity , a Universal Constant

"history repeats it self" we have heard this before,, is it just a sayin based on examples available through out the history or is there some thing more complex and mystic about it.is it possible that the universe follows a rule of cyclicity not only in the case of time but every thing possible.

human nature, biological transformations, climatic change, world economies...take any possible example allowed by your intellectual capacity, and I am sure that there exists a pattern of cyclicity in that. for an early exercise try to figure out the similarities between an toddler and a senior citizen. Climatic changes are cyclical we knw between to successive ice ages, economics teach us the cyclicity of recessionary phases every 8 years. Even human behavior is cyclical in terms of their gender specific behavior as the ratio of testosterone and progesterone changes with the age. what we are saying that if its a universal laws still to be assessed by science then the theory of birth and rebirth also acquires volume.

Bleeding Heart

The journey this nomad started as a famous story

when his life was transformed by the kiss of glory,

Soon that kiss turned out to be venemous

reuins of which still haunt in my sub concious.

I couldn't contain the moisture and they escaped from my eye,

next few days past, thinking " were did I went wrong ".


To that ,once world of mine
I knelted and continued to plead,
Brutally assaulting my selfpride
while my heart continued to bleed.


While I was reduced to a skeliton, with no expextation and no goals
I continued my pretence to be alive with my dead soal,
Dragging it with me is this world lies
the dew drops turned sour, rolling down my eyes


These days I see her happy with some one else
but I am happy,I dont cry,
Ya, it is painful to see someone you love, happy with somebody else
but to see her unhappy with you is even worse,,thats why.
